The short version: this site exists to show you how we build concrete, not to track you. We collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, and what you send us is used for exactly one thing: answering you.
What this site collects
What you send us. Our forms send us only what you type and attach, and only when you hit send. The quote form composes an email on your own device; the bid and ad-landing forms deliver your request, plan files included, to our inbox through the site. Either way, we receive whatever you chose to include: your name, email, city, project details, and any files you attach.
Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps routine technical logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type) for security and uptime. We don't use these to identify or profile visitors.
Cookies and analytics. This site currently sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts. If we ever add basic visit counting, we'll choose a tool that doesn't follow you around the internet, and we'll update this page before it goes live.
What we do with what you send
We use your quote request to answer it: prepare a ballpark or written quote, ask follow-up questions, and schedule a site visit if the job needs one. If you hire us, the information becomes part of your job file alongside the written contract.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your information. To anyone. Ever.
- Add you to a marketing list you didn't ask for.
- Run "this offer expires" pressure campaigns off your inquiry.
- Publish your address, your photos, or your project without written permission.
Photos you send us
Photos of your property help us scope your job. That's their only use. Photos of our completed work appear on this site only when the customer's written contract permits it, and we identify projects at the neighborhood level, never by street address.
Who else touches the data
The services that run this site (web hosting and email) process data on our behalf to do their jobs, under their own security terms. Beyond that, we disclose information only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote correspondence is kept as long as it's useful for answering you and keeping honest records. Job files for completed work are kept as long as Texas contract and tax record-keeping requires.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you and we'll tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will, except for records we're required to keep, like signed contracts and tax records. Reach us at blue.jay.svc@gmail.com, call or text (832) 693-0318, or use the quote page.
Children
This site is for people buying concrete work. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Where we operate
Blue Jay Concrete operates in the greater Houston area, and this policy is governed by Texas law.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We won't quietly rewrite the rules after you've trusted us with your information.
